The Royal New Zealand SPCA (Charities Commission number CC22705) is mainly a volunteer organisation, receiving only 1% of funding from the government. This funding is specifically ear-marked for use in farm cases only.

We rely heavily on donations, bequests and our own fundraising efforts to help us raise 99% of the funds we need to continue providing our crucial services in your community.

All donations are very gratefully received and allow us to continue our work as New Zealand's oldest and most respected animal welfare organisation.
