In May 2010 the Royal NZ SPCA launched Saving Lives in New Zealand, with nationwide presentations from No-Kill Advocate Nathan Winograd. Nathan spoke to SPCAs about the ‘No Kill Equation’ and the tools available to help increase the save rate of the animals that come into SPCA Centres each year.

The SPCA Mobile Desexing Clinic schedule is decided upon at the end of each year but is subject to change. To request that the Clinic visit your area, please contact your local SPCA.

SPCAs hosting the Mobile Desexing Clinic will undertake their own promotions around this as the dates of the Clinic's visit approach. Please keep an eye out for more information from your local SPCA, including details of how and when to make an appointment.

Adopt a Pet

A major objective of Saving Lives is to increase the number of animals adopted from our centres. Many SPCA's do not have enough space in their centres for the sheer numbers of animals that come through their doors every year, and rely heavily on help from volunteers and foster carers to ensure that these animals are looked after until they find their forever homes. Can you help?
