Norm Hewitt and the SPCA are taking a stand against animal abuse. Research shows strong links between animal cruelty and interpersonal violence. Teaching children empathy through compassion for animals can encourage the same behaviour towards humans. Our inschool program led by Norm Hewitt will teach children positive behavoiurs. open the fridge they should be aware of how their pork, bacon or eggs got there," says the
